After some experimentation I've established the lightest shade my printer can do without sacrificing print quality, and these are done in that shade. (Basically a pure cyan; if you've seen French roundels, it's about that shade of blue.) The down side is that the decals are a bit darker than they ought to be, although the up side is that they look pretty neat on Greek planes too....
